A Journey Well Travelled

Funny how the few pictures, above and below, taken on a country hike in Princes Risborough this Saturday, have summed up my story of the last two months gone.

This poem to accompany my photo story just burst through. I just love how the discovery of words can soothe the soul in an instant.

An uphill climb,
Feels like snail pace.
Yet the sails are turning,
And the intermittent sun
Stills the wanting mind,
Like cosmic energy.
A recollection,
You’re pacing forward,
Small, but remarkable steps.

And the time will come,
You’ll reach your destination.
Say the signs.
A journey well travelled.

And all that has passed,
Was the need to preserve,
To gather your inner reserve.

As the time will come,
You’ll reach your destination.
Say the signs.
A journey well travelled.
